Probably the biggest strength the committee members share in planning this show, is HEART.
We are always looking for volunteers to help the show maintain its great success.
The help would be needed in four hour shifts on the two days of the show, in areas such as
manning the children's entertainment areas and park upkeep.
As a token of appreciation, the committee will make a monetary donation
to a local cause the volunteer chooses.
Sign up sheets will be made available later in the spring.

Why Some of Our Committee Members Choose to Work on the Show...
Josh: I enjoy volunteering for the truck show because it is a fun way to give back to the surrounding. z
It also helps the public understand my business in the Transportation Industry.

Wendy: Before I got involved with the show, I knew nothing about trucking OR truckers.
In my time on the committee, I grew to love how truckers bond over their travel stories,
and seeing people enjoy the different trucks from all over.
It has made me proud of being a part of bringing that to Gillett every summer.

Mark W: Volunteering allows you to connect with your community, benefitting others
and creates valuable relationships. It also sets an example for our youth.

Mark V: (written by Wendy-Mark's mother) Mark has classic autism. After seeing me get involved
with the show in its first two years, Mark asked to be part of the committee.
The committee has been wonderful with him, and Mark says he likes working with the group,
and seeing the parade and fireworks every year!
